Friday this girl pried me out of my carrier, and acted all nice to me...
I knew, I KNEW something bad was going to happen and it did - more shots! Mom says we don't have to go for shots till next year now. She said there's no need to come here except to 'get fixed' (which I assume I'll never need, since there's nothing broken about me.... right? Mom? LOOK AT ME! Mom?).

North Shore
Yesterday we went on ANOTHER road trip! To the North Shore of Massachusetts - Rockport and Gloucester. In Rockport the sun came out and it was HOT - and the plans to leave me in the car while Mom and Dad had lunch at a swanky restaurant got thrown out. Mom plunked Dad down at a nice table overlooking the harbor and took me to find a shady spot to park. But after driving around the ENTIRE town, she gave up, and went we went to get Dad - long story, but she made friends with the lady in the Good Dog Store, and I got to hang out there in a very cool bed behind the register, with my own fan, dog cookies and cool fresh water while she & dad ate! It was so hot on the way home I had them buy me a cold Poland Springs so I could lay on it and cool down...

Father's Day
ROAD TRIP! I just love going places in the car, and today, Father's Day, we were headed to Chinatown to the Common Boston tour of 'food' places. YUM. I loved the Asian 'sandwiches' both the sub roll type and the egg roll type (you knew I would...) And I saw..... CONOR there (how'd HE get there?) And Eric and Abby, who I already knew and loved....
While Dad got to sample something called Dim Sum, Mom and I hung out on the street - Chinatown borders the Leather Districk, with big windows that have nothing in them. They looked like mirrors, and another pug seemed to be following us!!! (Mom picked me up so I could see - she thought it was 'us' inside - HA!)
I'm not that close to my 'real' dad, but I really like my adoptive dad, so I got him a card...
I was really pooped from going to the Bamboo Garden, the Dum Sim (or whatever they called it...I got a bean paste cookie out of it), the Chinese grocery store, etc. I collapsed in the seat between Molly & Rory on the way home - and to prove how sleepy I was Molly apparently put a chew bone on my head.... MOLLY! But we hope all of you had a nice Father's Day, too!

It's been hard to blog lately because when my Mom says 'we're' blogging, this is what she means - I sit or lay in her lap and she moves her fingers over this flat black box with an apple on it. I like 'blogging'! I'm getting so big now that when I really relax I start to roll off her lap, and startle myself awake - DONE blogging then!

I'm Getting Sleeeeeepy...
This looks like 'beefcake', I know, with the fur blanket and all... but seriously I'm EXHAUSTED from entertaining these folks! It's never enough! I've learned to pee on everything that flutters down to the floor - FAST (including, but not limited to: receipts, socks from the dryer, recipes, the pad for the dining room chair that Dad doesn't like to use, backpacks, paper napkins, bubble wrap and magazines). Oh! And I bravely made it up the stairs! (I found there are these things called 'closets' that are... well, puppy heaven!)

Yay! Saturday!
Today Conor took me for a ride - it was great, as it was getting kind of boring watching my mom lay around with ice on her neck. She was feeling a bit better, but still packed ice & painkillers for a ride to Providence for art supplies for her workshop next week. I was so glad Conor took me out to Bristol for a walk! I'd never been there!
But who did we see walking down the street - you won't believe this... my dad! I was so excited I tied him up with my leash and neither one of us could move!
I met these two Yorkies, Molly & Murphy, and they were really nice... till Molly went crazy barking and scared us all - even herself! So... nice, but nuts...
I found this doorway to Leo's Restaurant - but they don't let dogs in, and they tried to tell me I was a dog.... but they set up tables outside (for us!) and my family had lunch there (mom even had my kibble in a bag - mmmMMMMmmm). I found a French Fry on the sidewalk, and now... my mission in life is: eat French Fries whenever possible...

Slow Days
Yesterday and today my mom was feeling under the weather so we stayed home and didn't go anywhere (bo-ring!). So I took lots of naps and dreamed about last weekend when we piled in the car to go to Cape Cod Art Association to pick up her paintings. For some reason Dad said I couldn't go in, so we hung around outside... and I found these three friends that I sniffed and hung out with. They were very quiet, but I was bigger than 2 of them....And then I remembered how much fun I had at the studio (It's kind of MY studio, don't you think?) This big thing called an easel had enough room for me to nap inside it....
And then when Mom decided she HAD to paint today, I helped set up her portable easel. (I had just gone swimming in my blue pool, but I got out when I heard her open it up - I'M NOT missing out on anything!

Painting... Paco Style
Finally, FINALLY, we spent the day at the studio. I thought it went well. We first went for a long walk on the bike path, to make sure I did everything a dog should do before going into the studio. Which I managed to hold off on.... I can hold it, you know! So we went upstairs and mom set up her paints and started by painting a whole little canvas yellow - cool! I thought she was done, so... I thought we should go out again! So we did. But I stiiiiiillll didn't do anything (heh, heh, heh!). Back upstairs she started to paint a cute little cupcake, so I got under the sink... "No! Paco!" I heard - so I went under the workbench... "NO! Paco!" I heard... then behind a stack of canvases... you guessed it... "NO! Paco!" (She thought I was looking for a 'bathroom'... and maybe I was... maybe I don't WANT to use the Piddle Pads she brought!)
Anyway the fun part was when a tube of this pretty blue (King's Blue, it turned out) paint FLEW off the table! I am gooood at grabbing stuff that falls on the floor - and this video is me staying ahead of mom, who was trying to get the paint out of my mouth. It looked like I had blue lipstick on - kind of cool! I got my mouth washed out with vegetable oil. It got all the paint, but tastes... YUCK!
