Today my mom was painting red flowers and something smelled SOOOOO good in her little trash bag, so I snuck up behind her and buried my snout (such as it is) way into the bag. Hmmm.. nothing too great so I laid down. A little while later I was sleeping still right there under her chair and she says "Paco? PACO? What's wrong with your eye???!!!!" And I had to run all around the garden to keep her from looking at it!
Turns out - there was a paper towel with pink paint on it in the bag, and it was just paint! It's been a week for The Painted Dog. Yesterday I grabbed the viewfinder which had white paint, and lots of it, on the top, giving me that lovely white lipped look. Tuesday I insisted on laying between mom and her paint taboret, and I got a big gob of alizarin crimson on my kidney area - now permanently pink.
Hey - what kind of healthy goodies do you get from your moms & dads? Looking for ideas....
Pink Eye is a good look on you Paco! Keep up the good work on assisting your mom, she'll be forced to give you a portion of all profits!

Pearl - I knew we had a lot in common - I LOOOVE those baby carrots! At a recent party my mom gave me them thinking I'd believe they came from the Cheeto bowl.... I knew better, but they were tasty!

Paco, this here is Anniebelly. Now you are certainly cute and all, but I think PINK is my signature color, not yours. Personally, I like to back up to the wet canvas so that my hiney-kin is a travelin advertisement for mom's studio. I sure hope our moms appreciate all the work we do to assist them!

ReplyDeleteBelly (BTW, that is the same name we call our kitty-sib ISABELLE!) I would never steal your color. There was something great smelling UNDER the paint covered towel! My mom knows from the katz that she can never put anything in hiney-range - I'm just teaching her to be neater about her paint!
